ANTONIO BROWN is the award-winning producer of the feature film Tru
Loved, which stars Nichelle Nicholls, Jasmine Guy, Alexandra Paul,
Alec Mapa, Cynda Williams, Bruce Vilanch, and Jane Lynch. Brown also
is an Executive Producer of the award winning feature film, Coffee
Date. (as well as the behind the scenes documentary, The Brewing of
Coffee Date ), starring Wilson Cruz, academy award nominee Sally
Kirkland, Jonathan Silverman, and Elaine Hendrix. Antnio continues to
serve as a liaison for marketing and distribution interests in that
film, which enjoyed theatrical and DVD releases in the U.S. and abroad
and can be seen regularly on cable television.
Antonio has recently produced a television pilot, Friends of Dorothy,
starring Elaine Hendrix and Rockmond Dunbar and has a variety of other
film and television projects in development
Brown, currently an Adjunct Professor of Political Science at the
University of Southern California, holds a Ph.D. from the University
of Michigan Ann Arbor is an honored recipient of numerous academic
awards and fellowships, and is a published author who sits on boards
of directors and consults with social justice and community-based
organizations.
Antonio founded BrownBag Productions, LLC, which focuses on optioning,
developing, and producing feature films, television, web series, stage
productions and other programming. Brown is currently serving as a
screenwriter on a series of projects under development

The Boys Next Door is a fresh concept for a reality series that takes the audience inside the lives of two very different gay families. The first family, Steven and Glenn and their three boys, were at the forefront of the Gayby Boom movement gay people deciding to raise kids. The oldestboys, identical twins, are graduating high school in June and looking forward to starting at the local community college in the fall. The younger son, Eric, is in tenth grade and struggling with academic and behavior issues related to ADHD and a recent diagnosis of bipolar disorder.
